The following representation shall constitute information on the processing of data of the Users of website: http://signalosafety.com. It shall contain information on the Controller, type of data processed, tools used for the processing thereof, purposes of their processing and the rights of data subjects.

We are committed to ensuring the security of our Users’ data. In order to manage this task, we take all reasonable measures to protect personal data and ensure that the processing thereof is carried out in accordance with the law. The practices and procedures that have been implemented are aimed at reducing the risk of unauthorised access to the Users’ data to a minimum. Therefore, when processing personal data, we always use the security measures that are most appropriate in terms of purpose and method of processing.

  1. Controller of personal data

This website shall constitute an offer made available by Signalo Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością with its registered office in Katowice.

The Controller of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”), responsible for processing of personal data is Signalo Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością with its registered office in Katowice.

Enquiries on the processing of personal data may be addressed to the Controller by electronic mail sent to an e-mail address: administrator@signalosafety.com and by regular post to the address of the Controller: Przemysłowa 10, Katowice 40-018.

Data processed by the Controller shall be used exclusively for marketing purposes, in the case of using a newsletter or handling of enquiries submitted by means of the contact form made available on the website.

  1. Types of personal data processed

In most cases, data processed by the Controller come from the Users, who provide them while visiting the website, by launching newsletter or by using an enquiry form. In addition, we receive access and technical data, which are transmitted automatically while browsing the website by the User.

The User’ s data shall constitute personal data, i.e. information that makes it possible for the Controller to identify the User. Data processed by the Controller shall include: e-mail address, name, surname, place of employment and telephone number.

  1. Cookies

The website uses cookies in the form of small text information stored on the Data Terminal Equipment of the User. They are aimed at increasing the comfort of using the website. They are not used by the systems of the Controller.

The website uses two types of cookies:

  • “session cookies” – these are temporary files that are stored on the User’s device until leaving the website,
  • “persistent cookies” – these are files stored for a period of time specified in the parameters of “cookies” or until they are deleted by the User.

During the first visit to the website, there is a message on the use of cookies displayed. The User can change the cookie settings at any time using his/her own web browser, or even delete cookies completely.

A restriction or complete deletion of cookies may affect functionality and reception of the website.

  1. Protocol data

Browsing the website shall involve forwarding enquiries from the Data Terminal Equipment to the server where the website is stored. All enquiries shall be stored in the server logs.

  1. Google Analytics

This website shall use Google Analytics tool provided by Google Inc. The service shall use cookies stored on the Data Terminal Equipment of the User to generate information on the use of the website. All of the aforementioned information shall be transferred to and stored on the servers of Google Inc.

Data collected in this way shall be used to prepare analyses and reports on website traffic, in particular with regard to the functions related to displaying advertisements matching the User’s interests and demographic data. Such reports shall use data collected by means of advertisements displayed that are based on the User’s interests and data collected from third parties, including gender and age.

Further processing of the aforementioned data shall be possible only when Google Inc. is provided with te User’s consent to combine the browsing history and use of the application with the account for the personalisation of advertisements.

The User may deactivate cookies used for marketing and remarketing activities at any time in his or her Google Account settings.

Google Inc. shall process and collect personal data outside the European Union,
in the USA, as it shall use the technical infrastructure located in there for this purpose. At the same time, Google Inc. was deemed to have ensured an adequate standard of personal data protection in accordance with the regulations applicable in the European Union. In addition, Google Inc. has joined the EU-US-Privacy Shield programme.

  1. Facebook Pixel

The website shall use the Facebook Pixel Tool provided by Facebook Inc. The tool shall use cookies stored on the Data Terminal Equipment of the User to generate information on the use of the website, in particular the operations undertaken by the visitors to the website. All of the aforementioned information shall be transferred to and stored on the servers of Facebook Inc.

Data collected in this way by Facebook Pixel shall be used to prepare analyses and reports on the effectiveness of marketing activities undertaken by the Controller, and to create a target group for further marketing activities, i.e. research on the response to the advertisements posted on Facebook.

Facebook Inc. shall process and collect personal data outside the European Union,
in the USA, as it shall use the technical infrastructure located in there for this purpose.   1. Data processing method

Depending on the type of data and service the User will use (newsletter or information form), personal data shall be used only in accordance with the intended use thereof, as specified in this Privacy Policy.

  1. Market research, data analysis

Data processed by the Controller may be used to prepare his own data analyses, directly related to the User’s behaviour. Moreover, the Controller shall prepare his own analyses of market research in the field of Users’ segmentation, conducted on the basis of data collected by the tools used on the website.

Furthermore, he shall carry out analyses in order to facilitate and improve the comfort of using the website, verify how the Users navigate the website or to determine the time spent on displaying specific subpages.

  1. Newsletter

The website shall provide a newsletter service. In order to use the service, the User must provide his/her e-mail address. Provided that a prior consent is given, the User’s data may be used to conduct marketing and promotional activities, in particular to send commercial information.

The newsletter service shall include processing of an e-mail address of the User. Therefore, there is a possibility of processing of other User’ s data, such as name, surname or age, if they are included in the e-mail used to activate the newsletter.

The User shall have the possibility to resign from the newsletter at any time by revoking his/her consent to receive it. A declaration of withdrawal of consent may be sent to the Controller by e-mail or by post.

Should the Users notice any irregularities in the operation of the newsletter, they are requested to inform the Controller about the fact.

  1. Transfer of data to third parties

The Users’ data may be transferred to third parties exclusively if it is permitted by the law, or if it is appropriate due to the type of activity conducted by the Controller.

In the case of transferring data to third parties, the access thereto shall be granted only to the extent, and for the period necessary to provide a given service. The Controller undertakes that each transfer of data shall be made in accordance with the provisions of law and in compliance with an appropriate standard of personal data protection.

In order to ensure the availability of the website, the Controller shall cooperate with
service providers, which include, home.pl, mailerlite.com, who shall handle website hosting and Newsletter.

The Users’ data may be transferred to the United States of America (a third country within the meaning of the GDPR), in connection with the storage thereof on the servers located in the USA.

The Controller shall neither sell nor transfer the Users’ data to third parties for promotional purposes unrelated to the business activity carried out by him.

  1. Personal data protection rights

In relation to personal data, each User has the right to:

  • information,
  • erasure,
  • correction,
  • restriction of processing,
  • transfer data,
  • lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority,
  • withdraw consent,
  • object to certain data processing activities.

If the User intends to exercise the rights mentioned hereinabove, he/she should contact the Controller by e-mail or by regular post.

The User shall have the right to withdraw his/her consent to the processing of personal data by the Controller. Moreover, the User may object to the processing of his/her personal data for promotional purposes at any time.

If the processing of personal data by the Controller is necessary and he has no legal basis to cease it, he shall immediately inform the User on the reason for the refusal to discontinue such processing.

  1. Erasure of data

Personal data of the Users shall be stored and processed for as long as it is necessary for the purposes indicated in this Privacy Policy, including in particular for the proper provision of services in the form of the Newsletter, handling of enquiries submitted by means of the contact form, as well as conducting own marketing activities.

The Administrator shall be entitled to process and store the Users’ personal data for other purposes, if it is permitted by the law.

  1. Legal basis

The legal basis for the processing of data by the Controller shall be Art. 6 sec. 1 sentence, letter (f) of the GDPR, which stipulates that:

Processing shall be lawful if it is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Controller or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child.

Under a separate consent, the Controller shall process data for the purposes of direct marketing of the products or services offered.
